JediOre313 Think I am off on the year of the DOS port, but regardless, it is not the way to go.
JediOre313 Would love to see this released on any version but the 1985 DOS version. I played this game on my Atari 800 and have great memories as well as I still own the box and floppy disks. Worthwhile if GOG can get the Atari, Commodore, Apple or even the Radio Shack computer version. Just not the DOS port. Thanks.
Solty1977 This was one of my first c64 games that was not a cartridge game. I remember putting the cassette in to the player and hoping it would load. Way before disks. Good times!
squishyfrog I would definitely play this again. I only played the first game, Temple of Apshai (I didn't even know there was a trilogy), but I must have sunk several hundred hours into it back in the day on Commodore 64. If I could get a playable version of that same game here (C64 version highly preferred) I wouldn't hesitate to grab it.

Temple of Apshai was also awarded the Origins Award for "Best Computer Game of 1980", the first to receive this distinction.

But would I play it again? No!
And only owning a digital copy of the game is not so satisfying.
MWRuger Best known on the APPLE ][ this is the fore runner of every computer RPG as opposed to adventure games. It was originally released by EPYX. There were 3 games: Temple of Apshai, Upper Reaches of Apshai and Curse of Ra (with Hellfire Warrior fitting in there somewhere)
People seem to think that this came out in the mid 80's. Wrong! 1979 is the original release date.
So GoG, what can you do?
