I had to buy it on Steam because I really wanted to play it, but I would HOPE to see the game on GOG, just like the rest of the series!

Stronghold Definitive Edition looks like it should be a gog game. But they should really add a LAN option. These online only games through Steamworks are the digitization of video games through DRM. They will come for Physical Books next (and then, you!).
