robio @syralak mentioned it early on, but for those just looking for access, www.dynaverse.net sells ISOs and keys to both SFC Orion Pirates and SFC 2 Empires at War (modern version is the Community Edition). The users at hotandspicyforums.com/starfleet-command-f3/ have done an exceptional job patching Orion Pirates to work on modern systems. Would be nice to have it as part of GOG library, but Orion Pirates is in a much better state than most abandonware thanks to an exceptional community.
Ocelot360 Never played Orion Pirates, but I played the hell out of Starfleet Command II: Empires at War. SFC2 was the ultimate peak of the SFC trilogy, and has the single best balance of mechanics, gameplay, and story. It's a crime that SFC 1 and 3 are on GOG, but SFC2 is still lost to time. I have the original CD's for all 3 games, but having SFC2 digitally would mean so much as well as preserving this title.
XenokMe The biggest thing for me is the Orion Pirates has a really great skirmish mode that the first game lacks. The third is not really the same game series as it no longer follows the rules for Starfleet Battles Tabletop game. Orion Pirates was the best by significant margins, and I would sure love to have it.

XenokMe Bump, would love to see this on Gog. My disk no longer loads and its not working as well on Windows 10 any longer. Need to reload, but the CD is warren out.

intensoboy Please, bring SFC2:EAW and SFC2:OP to GOG! With multiplayer support, please!! I would buy AT LEAST 6 copies so my friends could all play against each other like in the old days. What an amazing game.

Q42x3x1472 This was the game that basically got me into inflating JPN's export business since I paid full retail for all my 3D hardware just to play it.
I would love to see this actually working, I gave up on it back in 2000 because it crashed so much on my AMD platform and all my bug requests got ignored. Would love to see the source released and a whole new re-release with toolkit and patches to see how it should have actually been released.

krholgate Slow with the comments lately - please add SFC II and OP to the mix! Even if we can't have a server to play multiplayer like we had wayyy back when it's a kick of a game to play. Part strategy, part FP shooter (sorta).

Ramagar Best Star Trek combat game period. Shouldn't be tough to upgrade the graphics and up the amount of people able to get into a battle. Game was far ahead of it's time.
