SPY_spec Bought full SQ collection on GOG and now I disappointed as it didn't include Space Quest I: Roger Wilco in the Sarien Encounter VGA (1991). GOG please add SQ1 VGA, it was my first Sierra adventure game I played in childhood.

Kdiii1 I was surprised this wasn't included, as Galaxy 2.0 has the video for the VGA remake (in all of its 90's glory) as the trailer for Space Quest.
dingwombat I was surprised to see the VGA version wasn't included with my purchase, especially since it was included in the old Collection CDs and the Steam version. Bought this here at GOG because I like to support Steam's competition, but I am thinking of returning the collection and buying it on Steam just so I have both versions.

tsunami2311 I would like to voice my disappointment that SQ1 is not the VGA remake, I bought 1,2,3 and ,4,5,6 of the space quest games cause I loved these game as child, and for 4$ for all them you cant go wrong.

hollisrogers Adding my voice to the list. I bought the Space Quest 1 2 3 collection assuming the VGA remake would be included. I was pretty disappointed to find it wasn't, that was one of my favorite games of the series.

SirTawmis I would definitely love to see this added - as others noted, the VGA remakes for the other Sierra games (KQ, LSL, PQ, QFG) are all included - it'd be nice to complete the collecting by including the VGA version as well.
elgonzo @Tikanjiah, i hear you. And i am disappointed too that SQ1 VGA is not on GOG. But let's face the harsh reality: With only a meager 439 votes collected over more than 4 years, how pressing do you think this "issue" is for GOG (or Activision/Sierra for that matter)?

rme90e44 I also assumed the VGA remake was included in this pack, just like the VGA remakes were included in the Leisure Suit Larry and Quest For Glory packs. I'm still not sure why it wasn't, but I would be willing to pay extra for the VGA remake (although I think it should be included as a free bonus in this pack).

Dju IMO SQ1 VGA can be considered a different game given the references to its own older version, but I agree with everyone this collection is by no means complete without it :-(

Baggins QFG came with the original EGA version when they first released it. It's also advertised on the QFG pack's gamecard.
Baggins Quest For Glory already comes with the EGA version. Check your game folders.
CO9207 Police Quest & Leisure Suit Larry (Also has the VGA version of LSL6, thanks GOG!) has both VGA and EGA version of their first games, why not Space Quest, King's Quest and Quest for Glory?
