There is a maze of patches to get it working with non-steam skyrim, but will not work with GOG AE 1179. This is a must for skyrim modding that needs to be on its download list.

I want to use Creation Kit but I dont want to use the error strewn Steam to do so. I keep getting a DL error every time I try to use Steam now. When it did work it was snail slow Downloading as it was. We need a GOG version of Creation Kit like yesterday.

Yeah we need more people to vote for this, i have to install the steam version of SE as well just to use the stupid creation kit... :(

I didn't knew that this feature was not available in the GOG version, and frankly, I feel a little robbed that it's missing...

Skyrim is not really useful to me without the creation kit.
