Andtha I already have Civ3+, but my all-time favourite is still Civ1 and will ever be. Civ2 is great as it introduced the isometric view, and I also loved to play it very much. As already pointed out Civ1 would run nicely in DOSBox, but Civ2 would probably mean a bit more work since it is a 16-bit Windows game (Win 3.x). Win16 (16-Bit) applications don't run on 64-Bit-Windows anymore... (They do on 32-Bit-Windows, even on Windows 10, still!) But given the many requests, porting Civ2 to modern Windows (or using an appropriate emulation layer) would definitely be worth the effort! Just be sure to include all the expansions and all the languages, please. Please, please don't forget the expansions and languages!

Skywatcher68 Now that a Microsoft "security update" has broken Civ 3, all three in proper working order are sorely needed. As are all the other games that the update broke.
edgarthewise Civ 2 (patched so it runs natively in modern 64-bit OS's) is sorely needed and I'd pay as much for it as for a new game. Civ 1 runs great in DosBox so it's not as crucial.
TheCrabbitScot I would certainly buy Civ 2, that was one of my favourite games back in the day! Lost many a weekend to that game.
mbryant Civ ll is a wonderful way to spend hours of delight. I'm a MOO 1&2 fan and love long drawn-out sessions of doom and/or delight. Plus the sound track is memorizing!

guardofhull Sorry people - the greatest version of Civ - Side Meier's Alpha Centauri and Alien Crossfire is already available on GOG. If you haven't played it do yourself a devour and buy it now.

BrandeX Sorry I forgot only 1 was DOS! 2 was Win 95, so you are right about 2.
BrandeX What's there to see in regards to OS? Civ 1 and 2 are DOS and will run on anything with DOSBOX.
Thrannon Civ II. One of the best games ever made. Loved the video clips too. I'd love to see a windows 8 fully compatible version of this game.

Though I was never good at them I always found them intriguing little games I would love to play again.
The first one is also part of PC history, for that reason alone I think it should be on GOG.
Tenki As someone that only tinkered with such games in their modern form, like Civ V and beyond, it would be great to be able to play some of the older ones. I know 3 and 4 are on steam, but hey, I like to support GOG when I can, and it's more in line with them than origin/steam IMO.
hund yo, since Civ 2 all i asked for was: live action advisors and real footage wonderclips for every new civ game. i miss them :c

oudaveguy Civilization is still hands down the best strategy game ever made. Civ II and Civ III somehow perfected an already flawless game, before Civ IV started moving things backwards.
Occulto These are already listed in the Wishlist! They doesn't get implemented faster just because you're adding duplicates!!
