ST0N3L3SS O how I long for playing this! Wish this were available on GOG. Even though this is an old game and rather simplistic compared to "modern" games, the game play sure isn't. When I think of this game I instantly hear the music playing in my mind. A game I would keep coming back to time after time. The younger generations deserve to be able to play this. I think it would be worth a tenner.

Great game. Instant buy. I loved this and Risk II (Hasbro Interactive - www.gog.com/wishlist/games/risk_the_game_of_global_domination_1996) and usually kept both installed. I love the simultaneous mode and the way that the 12 sided dice scale with the army size. HCDL would be Simultaneous Mode of this version on the alternate maps from H.I.'s Risk
ours_bondissant I'd like to find it on GoG. Don't works fine for me on recent OS (problems with videos and lan)
Themken I have it and it works just fine on Win 7 64bit. Find the setup.exe file and run that. Still think GOG should get it.

bdmarsh Risk II is/was without a doubt the best Risk or Risk like computer game, map options, rule options, even several different gameplay options. Sadly both the Mac and windows versions don't work in any of the last few versions of the OS
maydayp I got the CD, game isn't compatible with win7, would need some work. But the game is soooo fun, I miss playing it
sirslex I'm not sure if it is the same version I have on CD-rom (scratched up beyond playability) but there *is* a download of this on CNET. Although, from comments, it sounds like only the demo works as the company isn't there anymore to "activate" the full download... even though they'll charge you $20 for it.
Thunderforge Risk II is the best computer implementation of Risk ever! Tournaments, battle animations, and even Same Time Risk mode.
