Project Nomad
According to the OP this is about Project Nomads and not the old Project Nomad. I think people are confused about what they're voting for but it may be inappropriate to merge them.
bump
an old favorite
WTF would someone please tell me if this is for the 1993 space trading sim or for the 2002 Project Nomads? There's another wishlist for Project Nomads located here: www.gog.com/wishlist/games/project_nomads
Would the moderators or someone edit the link at the top of this so it points to the appropriate wiki link: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nomad_%28video_game%29
I keep looking to see if this has been released, check every couple of months. I loved the floating island idea and the build/upgrade options
underrated gem
'Project Nomad' =/= 'Project Nomads'
'Project Nomad' (alternatively known as 'Nomad') was released in 1993
'Project Nomads' was released in 2002
PS: I come to see we have misunderstandings here ... the title and some posts suggest the 1993 DOS version of a space/commercial sim, which I support/vow for, but the Wikipedia article is about a more modern, different game ... Project Nomad != Project Nomads ... characters usually matter ;-)
Played it a lot back then close to the end, but I guess there was some kind of bug preventing me to actually finish it :-(
This was Mass Effect before there was Mass Effect. One of my all-time favorite games! Not many people seem to have played this game, but it is a true classic!
Definitely a very good game worth getting on GOG.
It was called Nomad here in the states, and I played the hell out of it back in the day. Would LOVE to see this here.
This is a very unique game not nearly perfect but it's got an amazing unforgettable atmosphere. Its only buyable on amazon (4 new left only). Rights belongs to german publisher, CDV.
I still remember some of the taglines: you could solve the storyline without firing a single shot! Amazing game!
