No one lives forever 1+2
Oh wow, this is a series that needs to be remembered. Surprised it wasn't on here already.
I would be very happy if GOG can find a way to add the nolf series. These games deserve to be here.
Thanks @Unmanfly, sad that it has to be done this way
Just to update you .... This Game is FREE in 64 Bit format at nolfrevival.tk/
yes please i want this game to on gog
IP split and complicated doesn't mean it's "not possible", it just means it's difficult. I've read the articles and understand the challenges, which do seem formidable indeed. But nothing is impossible. Out of every possible retro game GOG could still yet release, this is my #1 request right here. Classic games that I would buy on the day of release if they came to GOG. Please keep working at it guys, you've done miraculous work elsewhere and I sure hope you can work your magic here too!
If GOG can sort out the rights with System Shock 2, they could do it for NOLF.
Not possible, IP is split between multiple companies and nobody can do anything about it. Both Kotaku and RockPaperShotgun reported on that.
Exactly the same as the previos comment, I still have a copy of the first one, but never played the second. And I'd love to have both here
The first is my favorite FPS ever and I never played the second so it would be great!
Cate Archer, still one of my all time favourite game characters <3
Hopefully the companies just settle the whole IP issues for this game and just release the game on GOG.com.
I think it's nice that you can even still get the games, since they are not on sale anymore. Sure, they are not optimized for modern PCs, but I could get them to run alright.
G3RM4N04K's link is just your regular GOTY edition with a widescreen addon thrown in for good measure. Nothing to get excited about. The worst problem with NOLF is timing issiues on modern PCs and that's what is needed to be fixed. BTW GOG won't release it, bc of some pretty stupid copyright issues with the franchise. Damn copyrights...
I've got both games and soundtrack as Special Edition on CD. But I also want it on HD.
That will be great !
Hey G3RM4N04K, thx a lot for the link!
i have both games but seeing it on GOG will be awesome!
NOLF 1 & 2 deserve to exist again!
I'd sell my soul to devil to make this digital remaster happen.
I want them… give me, give me, give me. :)
I doubt it will ever be sold again. But thankfully it's simple to find it on the internet if you want to play it.
Here it is: http :// nolfrevival .tk/
NOLF was as good as deus ex. don't let it be lost to the sands of time :(
I would like that !!!
Ok guys, have fun:

Ahh memories !
Please try to make a deal, GOG !
It was a so good FPS with a lot of humor !
I hate "call of boring"...
Sigh. The Kotaku article a depressing read, but it led to a delightful article about the game that had some cut scenes from it that reminded me just how good the writing was.
Rule 1. One title only - don’t mention series, expansions or packs
Learn to read.
This and include the Spin off Contract JACK as well. Instabuy from me.
Please.
No brainer! Both are way ahead of their time.
You look like you need a monkey.
I want to change what I said about NOLF being from 1999. On second thought, I want to say 2001, which puts it one step past the golden moment. I'd prefer to say, then, that NOLF took full advantage of what the games from the Class of '99 had to teach, and benefited from that greatly :o)
It's truly a tragedy if NOLF is not available due to copyright hoarding. NOLF came out during the golden moment of 1999-2000, THE greatest year in computer gaming history, hands down (I date back to the original Zork, so it's not an age-bias thing). The game blew me away when I played it. I was never big on Duke Nukem and always considered that game's humor to be somewhat childish and, yeah, beneath me. But NOLF? This was a revelation! It was produced by Fox Interactive, which always suggested to me that Monolith must have had access to professional comic talent and/or editing skills. No other computer game before that that I can recall featured such polished, subtle, sophisticated, and restrained humor as NOLF. The monkey bit IS as funny as anything as you will ever hear, period. It's laugh-out-loud funny and yet it's little more than a riff on a cliche. NOLF was the signal to me that video/computer gaming had finally matured and entered the Big Leagues...it was now, or at least could be, an honest to goodness art form.
Gameplay-wise, it was superior to most, with gadgets and stealth a la Deus Ex (also a golden moment game) mixed with both the usual and unusual run and gun tactics--remember shooting bad guys while hanging from a descending parachute, or the Moroccan shooting gallery? Great stuff. I remember it vividly over fifteen years later. It's a crying shame younger players wont get the chance to experience it. It's like a great old movie: time may distance the viewer from its environment, but it can't blot it out entirely. True greatness will always shine through.
Sorry to gush, but NOLF may well be my Greatest Game of all time champion, right up there with XCom and SS2 (yet another from the golden moment). As for NOLF 2, I found it a severe disappointment. It wasn't a bad game as far as it went, but it was derivative and stale compared to the unique brilliance that was the original NOLF. Thanks for indulging me, folks. I feel almost physically sick after all I've said that I can't go play it right now...
Yes! Make it happen!! I would pay tons of money for these games...
Of all the remasters I would like to see, NOLF is at the top of the list. This series was way ahead of its time. Don't remember if it released around Austin Powers or a James Bond film...but definitely remember both games vividly. <3
oh look is a monki

Would buy the bundle faster than you would slip on a banana peel.
