JoeHeine This game was WAY ahead of it's time in terms of design, fun, and playability. I had one of the first pentium's on the market when they came out and could run BattleDrome. My friends and I would play head to head over a 56K modem and my mother's phone line. I seriously wish they'd resurrect this one. Good times! GOG plz get it!
MinDFirE I had this game as a kid, but my computer could barely run it. I've wished I could revisit it for years but can not get the old disc to work

CoachWade I'd love to see this game. GOG has added the Thief series, X-Wing, and TIE Fighter. Battledrome is the last game I really feel nostalgic about.
knight5946 i played it when it was first out, basically it plays like a sports duel tournament, where contestants are Pilots driving giant robotic machines known as Herculeans, or Hercs for short, ur pitted 1 on 1 with NPCs or other players wagering and negotiate battle terms like, blaster turrets, obstacles, arena size, battle damage taken for win/loss conditions. the NPCs issue,accept, and deny challanges like real ppl, but they are also easily fooled- if u make an insane high wager then select their weapons they are allowed in the same number as ur own, but u KNOW they wont have them u can trick them to starting the fight, then its an easy win for u
also when u create ur pilot offline putting * before ur name u end up with rank Warlord, and a BUNCH of credits, enough to EASILY outfit a Hammer
Rusty_Gunn How did I not know about this game? Looks worthy to me.
