I own this CD-ROM game but I have never been able to play it, as it can't be played on a modern system without tweaking the software. It's based on my favorite book by my favorite author, and I would love to see GOG pick this up and work their magic with it.
This is one of those games I hope doesn't get lost. With an author of the status of Bradbury, it deserves to be saved and played. Apparently the original game package even included insights from Bradbury himself. What I can see of screenshots makes it look inviting. Here is one review with screenshots: www.mrbillsadventureland.com/reviews/m-n/martianchroR/martianchroR.htm
I hate seeing old games die out because of primitive game mechanics. But the idea of a science fiction writer making a game out of his books is pretty epic to say the least. I know if there was a game about one of Peter.F Hamilton's books I would buy it in an instant. Sure I would hate any clunky mechanics but I would be there so I could interact with the story. Hope this doesn't get forgotten.
