There must be alternatives out there, made by real video game fans, for fun.
JakobFel I'm not against them offering an offline version BUT people need to take a look at what it actually is before they flip out like this. You can get it either by buying a physical game guide (which gives you a code for no extra charge) OR you can buy just the code on GOG. The base map is completely free, the premium features aren't really that necessary. When you break it down to that, why complain about it? It's no different than the online artbook and digital comic we got with the game yet no one complained about those.
blue_legacy I agree with Time4Tea, it's a dangerous precedent.
Time4Tea If it can't be made DRM-free, then it needs to be removed from the store entirely.
