Huw_Rowlands Honestly - Lord of the Rings: War in the North is a game well worth releasing on this platform.
I remember my parents gifting me the Collector’s Edition for Christmas 2011(?), with the amazing art book and a Cave Troll figurine holding a dwarf (it still stands on my shelf today). Opening the case and slipping it into my 360, I was not prepared for how much I was about to love hacking and slashing away at orcs, spiders, cave trolls and other various baddies in Tolkien’s Middle-Earth while also being a game with the tropes of its generation make this an iconic game for me.
It’s a shame that it’s so hard for PC players to get a hold of, and have fun with. It’s especially sad that old Lord of the Rings titles that we grew up with, had fun with and have memories of playinh with friends have disappeared so quickly.
There’s nothing like returning to an old game that fills you with nostalgia, just to find you enjoy it as much as you did when you first opened that physical case - also becoming a thing of the past!
This is a plea from someone who loved this game as a mid-teenager, and is still trying to chase that youthier youth and the good memories of it, I want and wish to see PC gamers of today experience and enjoy this game the same way I did on my 360. At least have it available to those interested, and as an archive to the amazing work this game is.

themajorgear I played this for the first time on my Xbox 360 a few months ago and loved it. It isn’t backwards compatible, so We really do need the PC version so that we can run it on modern hardware.

TCTiberium Yeah want this on PC, got removed from being able to buy it on Steam. Really was unfairly rated by the so called reviewers back then due to a more linear path, but each character had different builds and combinations that made it fun.

YerKar There are huge groups of LOTR fans on facebook, so I imagine they'd come to GOG to start a collection for any Middle Earth related game and I remember this one to be quite popular.
YerKar I believe many would need this considering it's not available on Steam anymore.
