en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knuckles%27_ChaotixOld Sega 32X game, where you play as Sonic's friend/rival Knuckles or one of his friends. It's a one to two player game, that is by far the best looking 2D Sonic game that's been made (one that doesn't use a full 3D engine)...the music is great and sadly this is about the only Sonic game that hasn't been re-released (Gametap doesn't have it anymore, and they don't count anyway!)

This game has not been available to any other system than the 32x. Having a way to purchase the game would be nice
