kohlmark Try to set 16Bit Color using the options menu in the launcher, this may help. <a href="http://gog.com" class="light_un" target="_blank"><br /> gog.com</a> version forces 32bit color depth, this also causes issues on my system (gray screen overlay) Maybe it is the same probleme at yours.
wyldrixie My childhood's game.. :O bought as soon as I saw it was available here on Gog.com. Even if it is English Only (I have the french version working with <a href="http://Replaying.de" class="light_un" target="_blank">Replaying.de</a> installer) unfortunately the gog version does not work on my computer (Win 10 1803, i7 6700, gtx1070) the game crash to a black screen. But I won't ask for any refund, I just hope it will work on an other computer or that <a href="http://gog.com" class="light_un" target="_blank">gog.com</a> adress the issue. Just keep on the good work :)
godar @Estranged2 I just passed level Palawan Temple. I didn't use any tricks, everything just worked fine for me. I'm not saying that you are wrong or something because probably the issue is dependent on many variables. Perhaps give this level another not sure if this might help... I'm playing on laptop with Windows 7 64bit, inbuild Intel HD graphics card in 1920x1200 resolution. What I can say so far is that GOG's version though not free of bugs is the best version I've run on modern OS - annoying inventory bug is gone (Replayng.de version still had it), it remembers about 32bit graphic mode setting (all other versions required it to be constantly adjusted like its setting was not saved). Thank you GOG!!!
kohlmark The german site you mentioned is <a href="http://replaying.de" class="light_un" target="_blank">replaying.de</a> where I am member myself. <br /> Other members of this retro game playing community realised full compatibel installer with all lucasarts fixes and modifications for more stability from themselves. Also the launcher option "Load Game" has been fixed a few days ago, but is not integrated in the installer yet, caused by waiting of next Microsoft Windows 10 Build Update. But all other contect is working fine and without any problems. No "Heavy Weapons Bug", no "Palawan Bug" or other issues. Also dgVoodoo has been added for more nostalgic feeling and possibility to fix graphical issues. <br /> There are no fakes or virus. <br /> You only need to install .Net Framework 3.5 from microsoft via Control Panel on your windows platform, to use the installer. <br /> You can download the installer without any registration oder providing data like email adress or anyhting other. <br /> (Please excuse my bad broken english, I am from Austria)
Estranged2 Unfortunately, decades ago, LucasArts did introduce a showstopper bug in version 1.2 of a re-release of the game. Because of it, in level 7, the Palawan temple, the game gets stuck on a cut-scene and it's impossible to proceed. <br /> <br /> The GoG version currently (October 2018) has exactly the same bug - completely unchanged, because it's based on the same officially released, but broken, 1.2 version. <br /> You'll still need to look for fan made patches that fix this bug online. It's not easy to find these (there are some fake ones). There was a German site that had all fixes. Good luck searching for them. <br /> <br /> I won't ask for a refund because GoG put in the effort to get the game in the store, and just this effort deserves support, but unless their QA start making full playthrough tests, or look online for fanmade patches BEFORE releasing on GoG, they'll keep offering half-functioning versions like this.

ThisTimothy This is one of the only games I've been literally dying to get my hands on that gog doesn't offer. Honestly it was one of the most memorable adventures of my childhood, and something I'd happily pay good money to purchase and play on modern machines!
