Hatred
I understood that buying the Game in the Steam (EGS, Fanatical - Steam, Humble Bundle - Steam, EA, Rockstar) store and enjoying it is better than waiting for it here (gog) for eternity. |||
A lot of games will never be published in the gog store it is a fact! For different reasons many games will never be published in the gog store - fuck_DRM policy (or at least gog trying to pretend DRM-free), absurd terms of cooperation that gog is pushing, support policy that is completely frustrating and disappointing, and of course non-professional personnel.
I *believe* Hatred on Zoom-Platform now has mods working.
Very Chill Game! Want it in GoG Store ;)))
reminder that this game is now on Zoom-Platform (Steam-free DRM-free installers). unfortunately Steam mods do not work with that version though.

I've been curious about this game for years since I'm a big Postal fan, just waiting on a gog release!

Yup, GOG decided that we're too brutal and they do not allow AO rated games on their platform. Similarly to how Twitch did.

We've been notified about that change long ago. As I've replied back then - it's way too late now. We're no longer developing the game, the tech it uses is outdated a lot and porting this game to a new platform is a no-go.
DC_vipeout [Разработчик] 3 янв в 13:11
Third party ported it.
It's far more than just achievements. You want offline installer and that's cool, but that's not all that a dev needs to do to show up on the GOG store. We ported Ancestors Legacy there and we know exactly what needs to be done.
If you have a Steam account, please show some support in this topic: steamcommunity.com/app/341940/discussions/0/4328520278458510884/
I'll also mention that *Hatred got a DRM-free installer release on Zoom-Platform . com*. I wish GOG had jumped on this sooner, but so be it...
The game was just released on Zoom Platform: www.zoom-platform.com/product/hatred
Shame on you, GOG!
C'mon, GoG Team publish this awesome game in GoG store!
Or we could try for a GOOD twin stick game instead...
I'd like to cast an Antivote.
It's a bad game made by bad people, with a bad message.
I have 900 games on GOG, and only about 80 on Steam. I went to Steam kicking and screaming because they had games I could not buy here. Well, a couple of years ago, I stopped buying on Steam altogether because I don't feel like I really own my copies. My games on Steam are far too dependent on the internet. So, I am sad. Because if I cannot buy Hatred on GOG, I won't be playing it at all. I lose out. The publisher and the developers also lose the (admittedly few) dollars that I want to spend. But there are more than just me, and our numbers add up.
Voting because, good game or not, I would like the freedom to choose. The more DRM-free games we have to choose from, the better.
They don't want the potential hypocrite backlash from both sectors of the political spectrum, liberal left and the old conservative right, it's understandable. I, for one, can say the game is pretty cathartic since these debates have been brought up from the 90's hysteria about violent games and psychology shows, surprise, surprise, these actually prevent bad stuff! Oh my. I, for one, would like to have it here DRM-free, I don't trust STEAM and rely on them just for stuff I can't find otherwise. So yeah, count another one on the balance against the self-righteous crowd on the other end.
Number game I want to purchase. Instant purchase if added.
Does anyone know, if I buy on steam is it launcher-free? For instance, if I uninstall steam, would I be able to launch the game, like I could with the Witcher 3?
Postal is here. So should be Hatred!
Bring Hatred to GOG.
Still not on GOG. Like Manhunt 1 + 2 and Condemned.
Apparently GOG doesn't want tough games with a cold atmosphere.
Wishmaster777 I'm a so-called ''leftist'' and I want these games on GOG. And now? Grow up kiddo.
Since games much harder and more brutal are on GOG, Hatred should definetly be available. Just keep your moral to your private life and sell, what is wanted.
Postal и Ancestors Legacy есть, а Hatred'а нету. :(
Was waiting for this game on Halloween 2019, but miracle didn't happen... - too bad! I had to buy the Game at steam. If Hatred were at GOG store - I would definitely buy it here!!!
P.S. Game not Best of all that I've played, but really good - violence, blood and gore make it work!!!
The game is way too bad for GOG.
I would buy it just to trigger the leftists. The only time I would do something like that. And to enjoy the game, of course.
It's Postal 1: Enhanced Edition Deluxe!
Developers done this game from hatr... (heart) with love.
Must be on GOG.com!!!
It's just a game and anybody who thinks otherwise must have lived a sheltered life where they didn't have to cope with the actual hardships of life or the fact that if you want this banned or not released you might as well start banning movies and any format that shows violence cause it could possibly have the same effect regardless of the fact that there is no proof that links any format of violence to real life ones.
Just look to the past as an example, We used to have none of this yet we killed more people.
i'll buy the game again
Hatred in GOG!
Yeah I too would like to this get released here.
Somebody, please curate us of the curation! It's nasty and it stinks!
When GOG ???
How about some Hatred and IS Defense?
YES +1
So Postal is okay but this isn't? Really? There doesn't seem to be a place where a DRM free version of this exist. Let those who want to buy it have that option.
Surprised it isn't already on GOG.
It´s about time now, that Hatred get´s GOGed. If some people do not want to buy it, they do not have to. But I do not see anything different compared to Postal oder Postal 2, which are on GOG. Big Plus: It´s not in 3D. I just like my games isometrical and in 2D.
Also I just find it funny that they dont want to release this game on GOG but sell Postal 1 and 2 on their store, which has pretty much the same kind of "disturbing content" that they say they wont endorse. Huh... I guess GOG has a " double standard" when they decide which games to add to their store.
Wish they would release it here as well, so I would be able to get a DRM-Free version. But since GOG is located in Europe(Poland), which is way more worried about political correctness than the Americas. We might never see this game released in here
Okay, it's been quite a while since the game released, and still no news of a GOG release. If only GOG care to give a statement whether or not this game is going to be released here or not. I'm waiting for a GOG release from the start, but I don't mind buying this on Steam now, considering the situation
I voted by accident. Wish I could remove the vote. Nothing against this game, but I don't care for it, and I feel it's just an unhealthy way for really frustrated and hateful people to exercise such emotions.
Just my two cents.
please put this game in i dont care how im a aussie and i want to play it.
Games deserve DRM free releases
@The_Red_Borsch
Thing is, the only attention Harvester ever really got was when it was initially announced about 3 or 4 years before it actually came out - when no one ultimately bought it.
And of course the final game is (or at least tries to be) smart and thought-provoking underneath all the murder - and that's ultimately why I played that game in the first place and why I like it.
From what I've heard, Hatred is just a stupid edgy isometric shooter that isn't even fun to play.
You know. I used to want this on here, but hearing about how this game actually turned out and knowing what #gamergate has now grown into - I'm kind of glad it's still absent.
Please keep things that way.
Great game
This game made me open a Steam account. T_T it is not the only one, but it made me lose faith in the Community Wishlist and made me reconsider my reluctance to use other platforms.
arstechnica.com/gaming/2015/05/hatred-developer-says-gog-refuses-to-distribute-the-game/
It's interesting that previous, one-two decades ago, a game called Harvester was as the same scapegoat as this videogame.
