Iused to be able to see Falcon 4.0 available for download when I bought the Falcon collection on GOG in November 2015, but now I do not . WHAT GIVES??!!!

I also wish that they could bring Falcon 4.0 for BMS. I mean, maybe some sort of cooperation? A small share going to BMS? They're always looking for donations.

BMS makes this game into a modern state of the art flight sim. Unless someone will make DCS: F-16, this is and will remain the best F-16 sim around.

The original (v1.08a) works well enough (~18fps) on a HP mini 110 Netbook, 2GB RAM, Intel GMA 3150 and Win 7 x86 - so should work on most modern systems including those with integrated GFX chips. IIRC ground battles have bitmap FX that are missing in BMS.

Allied Force also works but needs a scalable desktop to display it's 1024x764 GUI on the HP Mini's 1024x600 resolution.

Both versions are nice but the original Falcon 4.0 is getting hard to obtain legally for those that care about these things and is needed on GOG.

Yes, you need this to install BMS. Problem is however, that an unmodded Falcon 4.0 probably isn't going to work on newer systems. Though it might work with all the official patches.

Really hope GOG can work out something with Atari about this title. They aren't printing any new copies of the game, and Allied Force doesn't work with newer mods like BMS.
