Thorsson I missed this when it came out and it's at a very good price on GOG, but everyone says that you need Broken World and that's not available. So GOG, no buy.

lefali this is classic and it is not playable on Windows 10, so I would buy it again on GOG if it would be playable version for win 10

cyberion_xlt1 First DS2 is better than DS3 (by far) it might not be as "pretty" but story wise significantly better and just over all design. Simple sometimes is far better, and in this case far more fun. I've played both.
Second You must get broken world if you get DS2
Third If the happy people who do remakes (extended expanded betterer) touch it be sure they combine them both.
Fourth this series has a lot of mods, yes they do.
Fifth if "update" happens make be sure linux version appears.
Unfortunately gas powered games was acquired by microsoft and as you know DS2 became a microsoft product, then 2K games made the expansion, lastly Squenix made DS3. I suspect the DS series is dead as a conseuence. Sad because DS1 and DS2 were pretty fun (and audaciously funny).

Sif_Stagis is it in the future cloud. i have the game on disk, but it won't play on windows 10. i can install, but the mouse is not working and that is needed to play....hope you will bring it on here :)
Kovah566 I already have Dungeon Siege II on steam but you already guessed what my issue is, no MP. My wife and I used to play this game together when it first came out and we really wish we could play together again. I also have a few friends that never played it and would love to join us. I'd pay damn good money for a DSII with MP.

BadOPCode Same for me. This is yet another case where Valve just shrugs off selling broken garbage. DS1 and DS2 were known for their amazing co-op play. It's crap like this that makes me a dedicated GOG customer. There is always a good reason why a game is only sold on Steam and not GOG. Probably because the developers knows the game isn't working and needs some TLC before it SHOULD be sold to the public again.
If it's not on GOG don't buy it!

VeryBadAI Dungeon Siege 2 + Broken Worlds need to be on GOG. It's impossible to get the full game and expansion anywhere else.

Dungeon Siege II is one of the good old school RPG games. I deleted it believing I will never want to play it again, because I played it so many times and I tought "thats is, I have achieved everything", but now, I remember the nice time playing it and want to do it again. Its an epic game and I humbly request the game to be added to the community. Thank you
jdestef This is among the best ARPGs I've ever played. There are FEW games I will play when I have a headache/migrane - AND THIS IS ONE OF THEM. Such a disappointment that the community for this game has basically evaporated. Would be awesome to have multiplayer servers up for this game. I'd uninstall diablo3 today, if there were.

Sarisio I'd also like to see DS1 and DS2 with all expansions and multiplayer (at least for DS1) on GoG. I have those myself (currently replaying DS2 BW), but I'd like to have them on GoG. Multiplayer part for DS1 is crucial, poor people who got DS1 from Steam, because they miss on 80% of the game (expansion + big MP campaign) and are basically playing demo-version....

Bruce I can connect to another computer without no problem and together do co-op on both computer - now it is written right.
Bruce And I can confirm, that no-steam versions can do still multiplayer, althought you need do few extra steps. Atleast LAN is working very good, I can´t connect to another computer without no problem and together do co-op. Don´t try Internet optinion, althought I think that with valid CD-Key it should be working, as it shouldn´t be over GameSpy server, just over Internet and when is connection over LAN working. Only one thing which could be problematic if happen you is that bug save, which affect joining player(s).
As I write in case of Dungeon Siege, I don´t understand why Square Enix remove complete multiplayer from DS 2. There would be only three things, three small things to do without cutting all multiplayer - take out optinion to play over Gamespy and do little tweak of one system file of Windows (just make script to add one-two line to that file),release new CD-keys (or rather ditch them and enable playing over internet without them?), look into save bug. Anyway, they already make some extra effort in case of Steam versions where they have to modified some files so multiplayer could be cut out.
Bruce There are atleast two things which should be resolve-new CD-keys for multiplayer
-resolve depedence of game on GameSpy servers, which are already shutdown, what mean without some tricks you can´t choose any multiplayer optinions in multiplayer menu
-bug, which happen to me recently and which cause, that progress of one player isn´t saving. Saving isn´t working alright (althought we manage to get quite far in game without this save bug)

The Soundtrack for DSII from Jeremy Soule is great. Bought it years ago and recommend it to be part of its bundle :)

Tychoxi just to counterbalance, I liked DSII better! It did away with the linearity and tried to come up with a better story and real characters.
Ichiro The second game is honestly terrible, and this is coming from somebody who's played the first game for years, every since it came out. Don't bother with DS II. And no, multiplayer won't work on DS II either, since GameSpy's dead.
hudfreegamer I only played the first game. I wouldn't mind picking up the second one too, but only if it's on GOG. I hate steam.

Bruce It would be great if GOG released Dungeon Siege+Dungeon Siege 2 and datadiscs for both games and with multiplayer part, becuse on Steam-it is only bundled to Dungeon Siege 3 (which suck) and both games are only cut versions without multiplayer! Which was essential part of both games
mothwentbad Steam version is wickedly overpriced for no good reason. (Or was it Impulse?) I have no idea what the company is thinking. It'd be a solid gog release, but the rights holder is awfully silly, apparently.
