gameragodzilla If they release all the Doom games on GOG with all the extras, I'm willing to rebuy them just to have DRM free versions.
Same goes with any id game, frankly. I want all the Wolfenstein games (especially 2009 since Steam no longer has it), all the Quake games (including Enemy Territory Quake Wars, because that's no longer availabe), and RAGE.
If you guys could work out a deal with Bethesda to get these games on GOG, I'm willing to completely abandon Steam all together and use GOG Galaxy more or less exlusively.

IvanDSM It would be awesome if versions for Windows, Mac and Linux were released. On Steam the game is only available for Windows, which is strange, since Linux and Mac versions were officially released (in 1993 for Mac and 1994 for Linux).

LunarLoony I find it funny that people are saying Bethesda are against DRM-free games. Not that they're wrong, but Bethesda haven't realised that you can play Fallout 3 without having Steam open, therefore technically making that sorta DRM-free-ish. (Well, lacking one of the two DRMs placed on it, that is)

DelRio1991 I realize the legal red tape that surrounds Doom for being DRM free, plus the fact that you can easily download it from other sites, for absolutely nothing, it's just so odd how a site that uses games like Duke Nukem in their library as a selling point doesn't have doom.

And no doubt with functional and easy-setup multiplayer (especially for Master Levels) - LAN and internet. Because Doom without multiplayer - that doesn´t feel right for me.
LunarLoony If you really want the game DRM-free and without using Steam, grab Doom Collector's Edition. And use GZdoom + Beautiful Doom, for your own sake ;)
