hyman_kaplan Discworld 1 & 2 work with scummvm - but not DIscworld Noir! No way to play it on modern PCs at all :(

Alrus Vulcan86 it's possible to play it, you just have to stay in windowed mode till you take control of Lewton, then switch back to fullscreen (alt+enter). The colours go back to normal.
bahbe I'm sitting here with the discs for discworld noir but there's no go - no emulator on even Win XP (old laptop). Lets all go back in time - c'mon GOG we love discworld noir !!

Vulcan86 I regret to say that despite a YouTube video claiming to be able to run this game on a modern PC, Windows 10 makes this game unplayable. You may be able to run it on a small windowed screen but you will be unable to view cutscenes other than in a heavily unusual color palette. If <a href="http://GOG.com" class="light_un" target="_blank">GOG.com</a> can rescue this Adventure series, we will seriously laud them - but we may have to accept that our memories are gone. :(

Cattie BTW, Discworld 1 and 2 works with ScummVM on Win 7
Cattie works well with vmware-player (freeware) & win 98 too. easy to install, i can play it fullscreen (4:3) and i dont need to switch all the settings every time i want to play it. <br /> but if gog would sell a german version for win7 i would buy it again.
