WickedKinetic Sad fact is MS & Blizzard / Activision (like the rest of the big AAA publishers) won't ever remove such DRM restrictions / locks from their games no matter how old they get. It's wishful thinking but maybe spreading these wishlist requests to big social media sites & publisher's own contact sites would gain more traction?

CodeViz Dear Blizzard.
Diablo II is easily one of my top 5 games. Few remakes do the right thing and stay completely true to original. You did and I would gladly pay the asking 40$.
However, times have changed. Gone are the times when I went through the hurdle of running suspicious cracks just to be able to play my bought game the way I wanted. Why is it so hard to let the game install and run completely offline? When it obviously already has these capabilities? When it's just just your company policies in the way?
My money's on the table. Your choice.
reikitigerman Well Blizzard has already raped everyone with Diablo 3 being only online and their micro transactions, and now 4 is going to be more of the same crap so it wouldn't kill the greedy devs to give a little something back and let GOG have Diablo 2 Resurrected to sell! OFFLINE single players should be recognized as being important to the gaming industry too!

CalciumChiefV Why are you even wasting everyone's time with this? It ain't gonna happen, neither is the OG D2. You can just buy D2 from Blizz and it WILL stay separate when Resurrected releases. The only reason D1 and War1/2 are here is because Blizz didn't have them on their website and a such didn't have versions that run well on modern systems.
