Ediros I am surprised From Software refused to let Dark Souls 1,2 and 3 be sold on GOG. I would love to buy them on GOG than on steam. However, it seems like it's impossible. Despite the franchise being quite old, From Software still refuses to sell games on GOG for whatever reason.

Souls-borne is my favourite game series which I've never played. I only watched the Let's-play videos and loved every minute of it. I almost gave in to the temptation when Steam released Dark Souls Remastered. But I do not want to support anti-consumer platforms like Steam, PlayStation etc. I'd rather download a pirated copy than to do that! Please, get these games. You will have my eternal gratitude AND my money! :)
Cloning_Termites Yeah. that's never gonna happen. After that lawsuit, they would be crazy to help sell namco's games. I know i wouldn't do it. It's a pity that namco was so greedy.
dp27thelight Getting these two games on gog would R.I.P steam for me and Dark Souls 3 would be icing on the cake. I know about bad blood between cd projekt red and bandia namco. This is possible as Bandai Namco already has a game on GOG. Bandai Namco loves to milk gamer's so honestly this should be appealing to Bandai Namco. Just release Dark Souls 1 and 2 for full $60 price on GOG. I'll let Bandai Namco milk me down for DS1/2 DRM free.

Timmy the Punk Dark Souls 1 is one of the best games of all time; yet, its PC port is one of the worst ever and a massive insult to PC gamers. Even with DSfix, you can't fix all the nuisances, such as the invisible Sun and dramatic CPU taxing. I'd be so grateful if GOG will fix it together with the dev. I don't think it should be too hard, given the fact that FromSoftware is now a much more experienced PC game developer than they were before.

Kyousuke. To all those whining about the DaS1: enoough of that! If you don't like it simply don't buy it. Even if the chances to see them here are very low, i'd be more than glad to see it here (as many others do too).

ChicknDuck Not trying to spoil the mood here, but games with an awful port (DS1) or games in general from a dodgy publisher (Bandai Namco) should be below GoGs standard imo.
If you are okay with those points, fine, but I'd like to point out those issues in case some people don't know or forgot it.
##@@##@@ I find this interesting: There is a choice for everybody here. Don't buy and play a game from Steam, if this has DRM implemented. Don't even think about it: DRM won't stay at games or software in common and it should be our interest having our own freedom. So for now the "Dark Souls"-series is not playable for everyone interested in DRM-free software!
jssrfx Apparently multiplayer had been deactivated for a while by Bandai Namco anyway. Seems it's back for now, but who cares? Patch it out of the game, you don't need it that much. You wouldn't get invaded, but that's fine by me; in fact even preferable. The game is difficult enough without some giant douche bag trying to mess me up. I don't do multiplayer anymore these days, I just want to play by myself and relax. Patch it out, sell it DRM free. I won't care, rather, I'd welcome it!
Onlooker Nice as it would be, I don't think it's going to happen. The multiplayer component of Dark Souls uses SteamWorks.

sacoji A truly great game series. The feeling of loneliness and those intense fights. Death awaiting your char everywhere. Its one of those games where you truly feel how you improve, and i don´t mean just the stats. I would definitely buy a drm-free copy from gog.

##@@##@@ DS1 was one of the worst junk I have ever installed on a computer. Rubbish graphics, rubbish controls, awful UI, console targetting system, no story. Only managed to force myself to play it for half an hours before deleting it and getting rid of the disk. I hear its better on console so buy it there.
