Yeah, this is a great game, easy to learn but hard to win. If you get stuck in a war with Egypt and Syria you are dead.

This game is amazing and perfect for pick up and play strategy. It is the only game ever to master this design of deep simulation in short play form. Fantastic! Has been on every computer I have owned since my Tandy in 1991 until my custom rigs today and my development machines at my studio. I make all of my employees play and study why this game is great.

It would be awesome to have this game on GOG! Perfect for people who like simulators. very easy to learn how to play....but VERY challenging to win! the neverending threat of thermonuclear destruction! egypt or syria invading! you must manage taxes, military expenditures, governmental relations, Palestinian relations, etc. each turn is a month. after you complete a turn the months events will be revealed to you as newspaper headlines. I miss this game so much...hell i think i only beat it 3 or 4 times! Also, you defend borders against possible threats. so you purchase different types of tanks, jets, helicopters, SAMs, etc. really cool as you see what the front enemy lines have, so for example, if they have tons of helis and jets or bombers, you purchase a bunch of SAMs as countermeasures, if they have tons of tanks, you purchase helis that are equipped with anti-tank rockets.
