SJNM I played the PS1 port of Civ 2 to death back in the day and would happily pay good money for Civ 2 to come to GoG. Come on GoG let me give you my money!

LordNicaris I got it working on my machine, but it would be a wonder to have a better source for this game. Rights might be sticky as 2K and Firaxis own Civilization now, while Hasbro and Microprose may still have rights for this installment of the franchise. <br /> <br /> I remember getting this game on Christmas, really great followup to my time playing Civ 2!
Blake00 It's a travesty that Civ2 is not on GoG & Steam, the game sold millions. Civ2 MGE & ToT are both 32 bit, and there's a fan patch that fixes a couple of bugs that occure on 64bit OS's. It has a lisence holder. Let's friggin go!
Pom22pey I too would buy it immediately if Gog would get it. Can't understand why such a great classic is still not on GOG. I have the disk still but no idea how to get it to play on Win 10. Many game players today might mock it as too simple ect. but it has that which makes a true classic: it is tremendous fun!

SashaSun Civilization 2 Test of Time is the best game out of all for me.Espesialy fantasy settings. Modern Civilization games are so stupid and unintresting!!! And with tons of cheap DLCs which add fwe things.

Cyberjarl Loved this game back in the day :) I played the heck out of the Fantasy setting it had. It also had a sci-fi setting, so basically, you get 3 games in one (Historical, Fantasy and Sci-fi).
atalentlessordinary Arguably the best civilizaton game to date. <br /> <br /> It had multiple play modes and if memory serves me well, the only Civ where you could launch foom Earth to Alpha Centauri and colonise Alpha Centari as well while competing with the other countries for it. <br /> <br /> Civilization has become less and less ambitious. Surely by now we should have a Civ where you can colonise Earth, then the moon, then Mars and outward? <br /> <br /> Each new Civ game is always one planet, just with adjusted grpahics and gameplay and AI which never seem to be quite right. <br /> <br /> Many of the old Civ features that were good have been scrapped and etc. <br /> <br /> Bring us the classics!
Greybriar Civilization II: Test of Time is my favorite game of the Civilization series. I would purchase it as soon as GOG made it available for sale.
Achman Literally the reason I got into Civ as a franchise. It expanded where Civ 2 Gold left important details out. And to think, moving, animated units!! Nevermind how badly I miss The Dome and They're Here, neither of which were in Civ 2. <br /> <br /> If this was added for even 35 bucks, I'd buy it.
