I one time buyed Civ 3 Complete and later came to know that it was given freely. I don't like the way Steam handles the game.

Would be nice to have the originals here but, just so you know, Civ2 has an open-source "clone" called FreeCiv. It's pretty much the same game in all the important aspects.
