minigogger I wish that CDPR would make a Native GNU Linux Version of any of their future or already released games, or at least open source their game engine. This is a general wish for any and all games made by CDPR. I suppose it is better to collect and focus all of our upvotes in one general wish, than to repedately make a new wish for every different game made by CDPR.

minigogger But, I must emphasize visibility is very important, and the current state of wishes for Linux games is rather not convincing. The most voted wish in this category is "Witcher 3 Linux Version" with just 13435 wishes, while the "Release the GOG Galaxy client for linux" wish currenly has 28731 number of wishes. Is it not strange that people wish Galaxy for Linux but not wish for Games for Linux?
minigogger And for the new games they may be already planning after Cyberpunk, if we succeed to gather a huge number of wishes an manage to keep this topic on the top of the Games wishes, then maybe they would make a Linux version for it.
minigogger And there is a trend of remake versions. Maybe if we succeed to show CDPR that there is a real need for a native Linux version. then maybe for example 20 years later the remake of the Witcher 1 would have a native Linux version.
minigogger Even for the already released directx only games there is still hope, that the developers would open up the source code of the original game, and let the fans make an alternative game engine. History proved it is possible, with Arx Fatalis - Arx Libertatis.

I understand you, I do not like Wine. - The most feasible to request a Linux version? Maybe to be able to count the sales possible? But obviously for a game built with DirectX, it’s over.
minigogger Also, please read carefully. This wish is very well focused. I wish for Linux Native games made by CD Project Red. This is not a general more games for linux wish, nor a wish for a lazy solution with wine.
minigogger With this wish I aim for more visibiliy. I wish there would be a general CDPR Games for Linux thread in the Games wishlist category, that would stay on the top of the list and would be very active like the Galaxy for Linux wish in the Galaxy wishlist category.
minigogger Is it more achievable to ask for a Linux version after they already released their games? Does it provide more visibility to open a new wish for every single game made by CD Project Red? I think not.
