ELYELY I wish someone would make a modern version of this game. Maybe add the Uncle Alberts Catalogs and you would have one amazing product.
mirage2005 Bought this game 2x on my C64. Played the first copy so much, eventually wore the disk out! I still remember the little tool set that came with the box. Probably one of the best games I played on the c64 and Amiga! Needs an update or a remake!
Rohano Car Wars (the board game that Autoduel emulates officially) kickstarted a new edition recently, and is distributing the classic rules again. This is a prime marketing opportunity for Autoduel to sell lots of copies.

CMOT70 More than just seeing this game back, what is needed is an Indie developer to do a modern full remake, a new PC version of the old Car Wars game...and KEEP IT TURN (PHASE) BASED! A game like this based around a user moddable tile set for making your own arenas would be my Holy Grail of PC game wishes.

Schnuff Oh, yes that was a fine game (played it on C64 and Amiga). Buggy, was happy that there was no copy protection as the game was killing the discs
steckman Played this on Apple II+. Dusted off the machine and played through the whole thing again just a couple of years ago.

Sattymike Autoduel was great. Enjoyed the many hair-raising battles during courier runs and the FBI missions.

LoneGunman I played this constantly over the years. I'd keep coming back to it despite the random deaths due to a lucky bullet and the "forced" plot as you advanced. And, yes, I even used the Atlantic City cheat once or twice. Been wanting to see a remake of this personally...
