Published in 2005, Area 51 is a loose adaptation of the 1995 light-gun arcade shooter. Featuring voice acting by David Duchovny, Powers Boothe, and Marilyn Manson, Area 51 blends action gameplay with survival-horror elements to create a unique cinematic experience. Items, documents and other easter eggs sprinkled throughout the game environment help immerse players in an unsettling world of alien conspiracy and government corruption.


Despite being released as freeware in 2008, the game is no longer available. Let's bring this classic back for play on modern computers!

Why do people start these? Area 51 already exists, so if people stumble across this they will vote here instead of voting over there. This is just harmful and detracts from getting the game added because for all we know the 27 votes here are 27 missed votes over there...

I would gladly pay for this game on day one. One of my favorite shooters from the 2000's.
