I played this title in the nineties on my by then out of date IBM PCjr. The best part about this game is the promotion system. If you promote an incapable man, you will lose the foreign wars that Rome is constantly engaged in, and if you promote a capable man, he could claim the throne and start a civil war that you will be constantly engaged in. Really fun mechanic for it's day.
