Husker5 The game feels like wild criss-cross between classic X-COM, especially Apocalypse (small squad fighting some strange cultist mutants in modern day urban environment) and Infinity Engine RPGs like Baldur's Gate or said Apocalypse real-time mode (since it also features real time combat with pause - like those games). Quite interesting game but hard to find so I join the wishes here.

lord_hellbent Its available for free at the website myabandonware. Download the iso, mount, install and then set compatability to Windows 98 and it will run.

twillight The only bug was, it allowed to enter enemy bases while they were not marked for missions (and thus could not leave mission) - pretty easily avoidable.
Totaly forgotten gem. We need it. And if you'd provide the german dub along, I'd pay extra.
GratisBinarius Yeppers !!!! Abomination, the Nemesis Project, while a bit buggy, I spent a lot of time playing the hell out of that one and would again. I think anyone that likes the UFO: Enemy Unknown type game (UFO sure outclasses Abomination, BUT!!!) I think folks would really get a kick out of it....

demonspellfire been getting excited by Phoenix Point and got me thinking about this golden oldie as Phoenix Point is the new game by the guy behind x-com and has definite lovecraft overtones much like this game

Xaxius I actually sank more hours into this game than I have any single xcom game I still have a physical copy on the shelf above my desk and id pay for a downloadable copy so I can finally retire it before I wear it out
Steel-Talons Seriously under rated at it's time. Just dusted it off, and it's all right. Very much based on XCOM series, but needs bringing up to date to make it work fully. Can't find any glide wrappers that support it, so all the squad info is missing on the screen on cracked versions (as far as personal experience goes). Get this one fixed up GOG, it deserves a new lease of life!
