The size of the download and/or installation footprint should be shown somewhere, with the ability also to allow sorting by that figure.

Download size (i.e. amount of data being transmitted) is not necessarily the same as the installed size, though. Should there be a significant amount of compression, the installed size may be far larger than the download size.

In reality, *both* download size and install size should be displayed.

There is already a wish for this feature with almost 800 votes: www.gog.com/wishlist/galaxy/when_installing_games_show_the_required_amount_of_space

Better to concentrate the votes there and thus help the wish gain more traction :)
