TheOMNIMASTER Hello, I want a feature in GOG Galaxy to check the save and update the achievements based on your progress. I completed Saints Row IV without Galaxy, never had interest on using it, but tried it and noticed that it have achievements for that game, but unfortunately I would need to start from the beginning to unlock all of it, only few achievements were unlocked when I first started the game through Galaxy, then I messed with some things on the Galaxy client and found a way to unlock the achievements that I already completed in-game, except for things like "XXX kills with ??? weapon" and co-op achievements (that I'll never complete because I don't play co-op), then after that I could figure that my wish is totally possible. But it need to have some specific features to make things work good:
1 - It will have a button for it in the overlay, then it will check if you meet the requirements for unlocking the achievements and will unlock them instantly;
2 - If you unlock an achievement and after that you load a new save (that don't meet the requirements of that achievement) the achievement won't be lost;
3 - This opens the way for an Achievement Reset Button that people would like as seen in this wish www.gog.com/wishlist/galaxy/achievement_reset
Note: All things here described were tested, I tested unlocking specific achievements that I completed (the only thing I can't do for now is the auto-check), and tested the reset achievements to 0% (or reset specific achievements too), the only issue that I won't post a tutorial for it, is because some people could use that way to unlock 100% of the achievements even if doesn't meet the requirements, then please don't ask. The only thing to do is some sort of auto-check when you click the button in the overlay, time to code, and different codes for each game that have achievements.
krzontacz Game itself sends a signal to Gog galaxy, Steam or Epic Launcher to send an achievement to the server.
SargonAelther I don't think GOG can do anything about that, that's up to the developer of each game. Deus Ex Human revolution actually works the way you want (Achievements are stored within the save file). If you were to load someone else's save, you'd find dozens of achievements unlocking at once.
