The friend list currently is a separate popup window, but it would be nice if there was some mechanism to reconfigure the client UI so that you could make the friend list dock to the right side of the main client UI if desired. I would much rather have the friend list permanently docked onto the single client UI window on the right side so I can see it constantly much like the friend list is on Facebook, than to have it as a separate popup window. I'm not saying to make everyone have it like that, but rather to have a dockable friend list as an option at least even if it is not the default option.
