Hide games with tag, i.e. exclusive filtering (and then convert "hidden games" into a tag)

Anohren Tags aren't useful if they only allow for inclusive filtering. If I want to see all games that are NOT "completed" then I'd have to create a new "not completed" tag and tag every other game with it. Filtering on every tag except "completed" will not work.
This will also simplify things by making it possible to convert "hidden games" into a tag.
Drew_Neilson I think that this is a great idea, and I think that it is a part of a larger feature that I've been thinking that GOG Galaxy should offer. LiquidDivide All it really needs is change the current filters to a 3-state checkbox instead of on/off. Have unchecked, checked, and x-ed out. x-ed out hides all games with the marked tag. Greatly improve usage.
Kohleran If I want to search for Classic Space games in my collection, I can not. Classic tag turns up all Classic games I've tagged, including RPG's etc. Makes the tagging system VERY LIMITED. Just add options for AND / OR / NOT or something. PLEASE!!!!! It hurts your best customers, those with large Libraries.
patbuergi Absolutely, the game library in GOG Galaxy is really a mess. We really need a way of categorizing games and selectively show and hide them. I don't want completed and "won't play" games to clutter my library... I tried to solve the problem by adding a "not" tag for all tags but it is ridiculously hard to tag all games consequently this way.
Dju Fully agree on this one, I tagged all of my completed games with the appropriate tag, and now I would really like to be able to selectively hide those games.
Or any games I tagged as "Won't Play" etc.
Maybe it can be done via a three-state checkbox, unchecked/checked positive/checked negative ?
Fathimir Hugely agree; in order to rein in my collection of games on GoG at all, I need to be able to:
1) Identify games I no longer need to deal with, and
2) Hide them from view.
The tagging system lets me do #1, but not #2.
