It would be nice to have an option in settings to enable a docked friend list pane on the right hand side of the main Galaxy user interface as an alternative option to the friend list popup window. The friend list pane would be similar in nature to how the Discord chat client has your list of friends down the right hand side of the main UI. Galaxy client has 700px of unused horizontal space at 1920 resolution, and 1300px of unused horizontal space at 2560 resolution which could be used to provide an integrated friend list via an optional setting.
