Command-line arguments completed
It took me a bit to find where it was:
After you link the .EXE
On the game's page
Configure menu ( to the right of | > Play | )
Manage Installation >
Configure
Don't know when they added it, but this feature fortunately exists by now (At least for executables you link by yourself, but not for games of integrations like battle.net, etc.)
Total crap not to have this Especially for old games that haven't been set up for modern systems. Add this feature so we can do it ourselves!! Otherwise, why even choose GOG? I can't play Return to Castle Wolfenstein without making adjustments in console... Can't open the console on GOG version because I can't change the command line... So game is now useless...
Please GOG add this feature !
please add this to Galaxy 2
What? How is this not included already?
How was this not included from the start. Fucking embarrassing
Also note that Galaxy 1.0 has command line arguments (it was added in www.gog.com/wishlist/galaxy/set_launch_options_command_line_arguments_for_games but they have not added it to Galaxy 2.0... Hope they do it soon. There are some games I need to make .bat files for due to this limitation. :-(
Yes this ticket is about stuff like "retroarch.exe mygame.rom"! XyleDaylight has misunderstood.
Yes, this will be very useful, various command line arguments are very common (like "-skipIntro" etc.)
I think he thought of setting permanent command line arguments on specific games. In that way everytime you run it, the parameters are already there.
"$ galaxy login username password" "galaxy install witcher2" "galaxy update terraria" so many possibilities beyond these, too!
