ScienceofSpock I want the damn CLOSE button ( You know, the X in the upper right corner, that is supposed to close an app) to ACTUALLY CLOSE THE APP. I have gone back and forth with your support team about this, and they don't seem to understand that the close button already means CLOSE (And has for almost 40 YEARS) and that you shouldn't be trying to redefine it as "minimize". Give me an option in settings that allows me to close the app COMPLETELY when I click the damn close button. I am tired of companies trying to get their stupid apps running 24/7 under the guise of updates. If Galaxy needs updates, it can update when I launch it. It doesn't need to be running 24/7 to listen for updates. It's not a critical part of my computer. If a game I want to play needs updates, it can update before I play it. But since all the games I play on here are more than 20 years old, I don't see any real need for updates for them at all. Your app is using MY resources and I shouldn't need to click ANYTHING other than the close button to kill your app. This is NOT your computer.
Spotify learned. Hopefully you will too. The CLOSE button means "close", "Stop running", "Kill this process". It doesn't mean "Hey, just minimize yourself to the system tray and continue to monitor my activity and waste my resources because your developers think you are somehow more important than my directive to close."

DannyBoy2k This. SO much this. The X in the upper right corner means, and always have meant, CLOSE THE F*ING PROGRAM! NEXT to that, there's a "MINIMIZE"...guess what, I'm competent to know the difference. If I want to minimize, I don't press the CLOSE button.
