penumbren Please allow us to change the default text size on the website while using Galaxy. The default is extremely small, especially on higher resolutions.
fletcher33 So, any news on increasing the font size? It's a massive error of judgement not to have noticed this as a problem during development. It's pretty much unusable as it is.
Michael1957 I have bad eyes and they are getting worse. Whatever I see in browsers I scale it to bigger size.
If Galaxy is not giving me a scaling option I simply might not be able to use it anytime longer. It's not big enough für using it.
Cymbeline Is there a way now to make font sizes larger? I am giving up on Galaxy as I can't read the font. I can scroll the font to any size on the internet, so I will go back to .com. Young programmers should have an older person on staff to review their work for accessibility. :-)
deadalewives If GOG Galaxy's interface could at least be as large as the regular website's, that would be nice. They need to just give us the option of selecting the size we want.
viranimus It is more than just font size. The client functions like a proprietary web browser that only accesses webpages from one site. So there needs to be actual scaling much like most web browsers will allow you to "Control+Scroll wheel" to scale to the desired size. Trust me, if it were only text size changes, you would immediately see the need for all page elements to be scaled along with it. Images, icons, buttons, I know from experience that it is pretty unforgiving in a 10 ft GUI scenario. I typically have to go closer to the TV, launch what I want to play, then sit back down. Might be a first world problem, but it is one that will eventually need to be addressed. So sooner rather than later would be appreciated.
There are a wide variety of user set ups out there. Desktop, Laptop, a range of resolutions, HTPC 10 ft GUI, Those with poor vision, Farsighted, nearsighted.
One size fits all really doesn't fit at all.
Mogrid I run my desktop at 2715x1527 on a 1920x1080 monitor. That makes most of the text impossible to read.
blondetrulla Can`t read anythimg on my ultra-hd tv. (I`m a couch-potato-player) It would be great if i could change the size of the fonts!
