Add 'Installed' filter for Library completed
I'd like the installed filter to work wiht other platforms than just plain old gog.
While this feature "exists" I would like it to be more front and center in the library. Instead of having to click "Filter", then "Status" and finally "Installed" it should be it's own toggle button on the main library
Another way to handle this, would be adding the ability to modify tags from the Galaxy Install / Play / Stats Page under the More Button
So you can only modify tags from Library view, I want to quick jump via the "Installed" Tag Display Check box so i can modify tags on game that i currently have installed without having to search my over populated Library.
Kohleran, please explain where / how to use the Tag system. This sounds like it might be what I am looking for.
It will not fix the updates process which seems to require the entire game to be downloaded over again for a simple bug fix however.
I also found out how to disable the auto update which is better than STEAM which requires an update before the game will even launch. Of course I keep my STEAM app 'OFFLINE' most of the time to keep the games from getting flagged for updates.
Thank you!

I like this as an added feature to the Galaxy App. Also, I would like to have along with this feature a way to show which content is ALREADY installed and in the Galaxy database locally, so I don't accidentally start another install of something that is already installed and working.
When you start an install of content that it already installed and working it BREAKS it and you have to wait for the download to complete. I have a metered internet connection and cannot waste data re-downloading content that I already have and is working.
Lastly, because I have a metered internet connection I really dislike the OPTION of keeping a game UPDATED as most of theses updates seem to be very large and not just small fixes to be compiled into the local program.
Thank you!

Bump. Adjust TAG system to make a part of Galaxy that is just slightly useful, into a huge tool of organization for your most dedicated buyers with large libraries. The great part is, its already there. Just add conditions of NOT/AND/OR and it becomes an enourmously useful tool.
I agree with Marscaleb. I would like to be able to filter out the installed games in the big library panel.
I just added Not Completed as a tag to all my games. Took a long time. Then happily tagged RPG and Not Completed. I was thinking it would show all those RPG's that I hadn't completed yet. NOPE. I got all the RPG's plus all those games Not Completed regardless of if it was RPG's or not. There is a problem in functionality here.
Another TAG would be COMPLETED. I want all Science Fiction games that I haven't already completed. Once I complete a game, I put a Completed Tag on it, so that I can filter it out of my search when looking on what next to play. The ways to manage the library are endless.
If they could adjust the TAGS so that we could filter, we could solve this easy ourselves. Two things to make it smooth. 1) an easy way to tag multiple games at once 2) a filter tag choice of And/Or/not. Like Space AND installed NOT Simulation would pull up all non-sim space games installed. Anyway, the tag system is unwieldy at the moment because you can only select one tag to filter by.
Please this. I'd like to keep my shelf as clean as possible until I'm ready to play more games.
This, AND a filter for uninstalled games, so its easier to find which games I haven't played yet
Not only a filter to show installed games, but also uninstalled games.
I'd like this too. Should make it easier to search games I already have installed on the list. Steam already has this option. I think galaxy should too.
As I have a LOT of older games I'm able to install more and more of them due to their small size. The left bar doesn't do the job for me. I would rather something larger in the middle with artwork and such to act as a launcher.
I don't think this is necessary as the left side bar shows you the games you have installed already.
I'd also like a "not installed" filter.
In addition to everything else, selecting multiple genre/tags/whatever should generate an exclusive list, not an inclusive one. This seems half implemented: if you select, for instance, one genre and one tag, it will only show you items that have both; if you select two genre, it will show items with either, instead. Very inconsistent.
I think this would require (or at least, strongly suggest) adding an option to Galaxy so users can let Galaxy inform GOG about the list of installed games, so the web interface can also display the currently installed games.
Emphasis on OPTION.
Actually, this should be the default center view if you're offline. A view of your shelf with your locally installed games. If you then go online, have it default to the online Library shelf. Then have customizable filters to change things how you like them after the initial log on.
Actually I want the exact opposite; to be able to see the games in my library I don't have installed...
Yes, but even with a search function the current display of installed games is not really that useful if you have tons of games installed (and with the small install sizes of older games you can easily install hundreds of games). It really need additional filters or ways to change to much smaller entries.
Yes, absolutely. I do not want to fish around through over 300 games to located an installed one I want to fire up. On the other hand, of course I want to be able to view them all when I want to install something. I'll just add yet another option to organize the library by user defined categories would be nice. Maybe I should make a separate request for that but I will just leave it here for now.
My currently installed games don't show up as such; they still have the "Install" button when I go to their pages. The next client version should detect what's already installed.
Center display should also be able to filter installed games as well.
Aren't you count that left section which is shows only installed games and also let you search around them?
