Abolish GOG Galaxy entirely!

And return to the way GOG used to be before June 2014., when GOG Galaxy was first announced. Sometimes two, maybe even three steps back are one step forward and only way for GOG to survive!

What problem would that solve exactly? I can only think of a whole bunch of new problems it would create.

Having a launcher automatically turns people who don't wanna use it into second-rate citizens. I do realize copying steam is easier than coming up with your own solutions to the problems of the modern video game market, but then it's not really GOG anymore.

Nope. Just keep it optional. And if there is some service needing some kind of cloud(-ish) infrastructure, I still prefer to use GOG Galaxy than i.e. Steam.
