Ability to download multiple DLCs at once

Narmo Right now when I add a DLC to download all other fields on that page are greyed out and I cannot add another one untill the first one finishes downloading. Witcher will have 16+ DLCs. Some will be small, some may have few hundred MB or more and waiting for every one to finish will be anoying.
Denis_A I absolutely agree that this is necessary. You now began to appear games from Paradox, a feature of which, as you know, is a huge amount of DLC. But in fact it will be better if the download can be queued, and not as it is now, when the beginning of the installation of one DLC blocks any operations in the client GoG Galaxy. But in most cases, really enough to install all the DLC at once/
Tshcktall What are you doing GOG? This is a problem since at least 3 years. Either you stick to your good old games where no dlc's are needed, or you keep up your processes in terms of modern games.
jerff This. I've now encountereg this problem with the Fig Premium Edition of Pillar of Eternity 2, and boy this is annoying. For some reason Glaxy has to recheck all 20GB of game files eveytime I check the mark for the next piece of DLC (where each of them is a very small thing, a few MB in size). So activating all pieces of DLC has just took upwards of 20 minutes for me. Extremely annoying. Please, fix this.

IGTHORN I had to re-install Witcher 3 after a hard drive failure. Doing them 1-by-1 as they were coming out was fine. But now that I have to install all of them, it's painful to have to start a download and then leave it running while I go to work and then start the next one.

deadManwalKing They should separate dlc download and dlc activation into separate tabs. That might make it easier to implent adding dlc to their download queue.
shep42 This should be called "Ability to SELECT multiple DLCs at once" as that is what is being asked for - not simultaneous downloads of multiple DLCs at once.
cocodapuf Yeah, this really is the most annoying thing I've encountered with GoG Galaxy.
And it's worth fixing, because at the moment I'm seriously discouraged from buying any new DLC, simply because of the annoyance.

dextro I can't believe this isn't higher up on the most voted list since it's really annoying for games with lots of DLC (like The Witcher 3). It would be better (and probably simple) to just have a couple of buttons to save changes instead of triggering them as soon as a checkbox is clicked.

When there are three DLCs I want to download, I should be able to click all three and walk away, not be forced to sit there and watch them download one at a time just so I can click the next one.
PLEASE let them queue.
s1drano It doesn't have to happen at the same time; properly installing multiple DLCs concurrently can be a pain when it comes to dependencies or race conditions.
The important part is: Galaxy shouldn't block the UI while we check or uncheck DLCs. A simple queueing system can do wonders here.

jbowden3 This issue seems to have been resolved in a recent Galaxy update. I can now click on "Get Backup & Extras" and download the DLC installer files (for backup purposes). Thanks GOG!

tkanakaris Vanchann you are right, you MUST INSTALL the game to see the DLC that are available
tkanakaris I have tested the process from ytsejam91 and it works for Blackguards. But I agree that it should be easier to see the DLC. For example just under more, more->DLC
vanchann I use Galaxy client just as a downloader to backup the installers and there's no way to access any DLC content through it.
@ytsejam91: Do you have the game installed?
Maybe this process works only for installed games.
ytsejam91 As far as I can tell DLCs are actually already supported (at least on some games).
Step 1: make sure you're connected to GOG.com (open your library and click on connect now). Note that it's not enough to just open the galaxy client: if this step is not performed, the DLC list won't show up
Step 2: select the game
Step 3: more->configure
Step 4: Scroll down till you see the available DLC (there's a checkbox for every dlc)
Step 5: check the dlc you need and wait for it to be downloaded
Tested with Divinity: Original Sin.
