At first glance it might look simplistic and arcade'y. It's easy to start, but handling is quite challenging, while providing tons of satisfaction and fun. There are plenty game modes: career, free roam with collectibles to find, time trials, online challenges. Car selection is vast, track are beautiful. Game physics is far from arcade. Graphics are very pleasant (with occasional hiccups when lots of trees are displayed), music is just stunning and stirring. And car sounds are on point! There is a lot of satisfaction when you hit a rev limiter while sliding on a turn. Truly makes you feel the power of 80's beasts on wheels. All in all - worthy game for every racing fan out there. It's a unique combination of simulation and arcade fun. easy to pick up and just goof around with pedal to the metal - but mastering the power of the cars would be a long and fun way! Deluxe Edition contains (apart from the game) marvelous OST, as well as 20+ wallpapers - fully worth the price.
