Honestly, I don't know why people feel it necessary to rate it, :1 STAR SO LOW URRGG", some people can be very whiny. I personally have enjoyed the game so far, the bugs do exist, but I haven't come across any horrible ones. And to be honest this is a day one release from a franchise known to have lots of blip bugs. (MOVING ON) The Soundtrack: It;s excellent fit with the setting, really makes me feel like a viking age warrior traversing the land. The beat of the drums, the humming, the pipers piping MMM-MMMMmm good shit! The Crunch: One has to remember, this ISN'T mount and blade Warband, But VIKING CONQUEST. The combat is focused more on historically accurate and Realistic. If you want your swing fest go play War of the Vikings, and we all know how that "game" turned out. -You can do shield walls it works its awesome -Bows are not rocket projectile monsters -The formations are Coo' as the kids say The Multiplayer: AH The big one everyone wants to really know about, YES the multiplayer is good, hell it's great. EXCEPT FROM one flaw, the fucking noise from smashing doors, MAN that noise is loud and annoying but you can fix it but fucking with your audio -You can "Shield Knock" to taunt your enemies -You can berserk but at a huge cost -You can blow HORNS to boost you ally's strength And wave banners to improve morale! -Great voices, and Yells instead of the same URRGUGUGGU The graphics For a game thats as OLD as mount and blade thsi game looks pretty damn good, of course the problem is getting it to run at said setting without the choppiness setting in can be a bit frustrating, UNTIL you change FORCE LOAD TEXTURES, TURN DAT SHIT OFF. It is no BEUNO! (You'll thank me later) -The waves fucking wave(legit) -Character models all look like beefy mcroast beef! -Horses Look 5x better then before, FINALLY Epilogue: In all honesty This Expansion is for the niche, its for those historical nerds who enjoy vikings and that's what they made no excuses barred.

Divinity 2 is perhaps one of the better action oriented rpgs I've played in a long time, the environments are huge - riddled with humor and "things" to do. While the combat is not as advanced as I'd personally prefer (though I have high standards) it still is quite enjoyable. Not to mention all the fun you can have with the developers "cheat" engine just for fun!

The PROS -Not 2 but 4 campaigns, 2 of which are standalone campaigns -The Mask of the Betrayer Expansion is made of high quality writing (Think Plancescape Torment) -Lots of Class n' Crunch Choice, you have tons of options for multiclassing -Import/Export system for you Chars, can play the same character on all campaigns! -Large variety of enemies, I don't say this lightly, I really mean that, like too many... -Crafting system, that covers most items ("similar" to the pen & paper) -A CRPG (Baldur's Gate) Style combat system, with multiple camera angle options -Can Co-op all of the Campaigns with buds! -Mod Modules to play around with -Well written character companion moments (MASKOFBETRAYER BUY IT JESSUS WHY YOU WAIT, DO IT UMUGUD) -I could go on, you see my point so far I'm sure The CONS -Optimization has sometimes been an issue with this game, some areas have really bad framedrops (Minor Problem) -The Animations can seem very clunky or even out of sync sometimes, it doesn't always detract from immersion, unless of course you require PURE immersion /W3 animation quality (Minor Problem) -The first Campaign can be construted up to being mediocre and simply going through the motions, the first campaign didn't really grip me, I beat it, but honestly I didn't have anything else to do with my time back then, the expansions more than make up for it, and the original did get much better midway/towards the end (Medium Problem) -The Co-op requires a third party system now to connect, not the worst but still a slight hassle (Minor Problem) -The physical look of many of the Armors (especially in the first act,) look realetivly the same, it's not terrible, just feels like I'm wearing the same Mail vest over an over sometimes. But honestly a minor gripe, the starter armor do happen to look really cool though (Minor Problem) All in all a 4.5/5 in terms of lots of quantity & good quality, it is an excellent buy for 20 USD!
