I love these imported European title! Deplonia's art style first grabbed me along with it's far-flung plot, but it kept me playing to the end. The puzzles follow reasonable logic, so I never felt frustrated playing through the title, along me to keep a satisfying pace through the title. It was just the right length to keep me interested and entertains, so I jumped at the sequel when it was released.
I didn't expect much from this series, but after playing them they've been one of the most polished and coherent adventure titles I've played. It's clear that Dave Gilbert took the time to think through the gameplay, art, and plot to make every action in the games satisfying. Brace yourself for a few soapbox dialogs, but overall the series is a solid set. I can't pick a favorite, because each has some great art/plot/game mechanics, but be ready for some perspective and art style changes. Wadjet Eye is definitely a studio to watch!
