Yeah after the police officer catching me from behind three times in the first scene..i ws done. I'm a hardened gangster running away from the police. I toss people out of the way as i'm running jump or dodge over anything......the a policeman touches me from behind....game over. I guess its like flag football. no fight scene or nothing...tag ur arrested...PASS. I like to have fun not be punished by dumb game mechanics. The controller movement sux ....save ur money. All the face models look like crap and reading subtitles in a game is fun right??????
They messed with LAN.....no excuse for that. they also silenced the car sounds.....why? And the color palette is off from the other version.......why? Just play 3. Not this remastered we messed with whatever for whatever reason. This was one of the older cool games you could play on LAN when snow took out the cable and they ruined that. I wish i had realized in time to get a refund.
I did the trick suggested by bombatomba and did get to the first menu selected a game mode and after the video it crashed. It played the videos got to the launch menu but no gameplay CTD. Looking at the cut scenes i realised just how old this game is and might be better as a memory.
Downloaded and installed yesterday on windows 10 and an old i5 Quad core......Played for over 12 hours didnt crash once.....need i say more?? Oh it did try to come up with some windows live B.S. during installation which i just ignored.....Erased my steam copy
