Slipways isn't a bad game but the description and many of the reviews are pretty misleading about it's gameplay. This is a puzzle game not strategy, and it's definitely not 4x. The point is to connect planets together in the most optimal way based on the resources they require/produce. It's the sort of thing you could have a lot of fun playing on a tablet for an hour but if you are looking for a strategy game look somewhere else.
This isn't the best of Telltales Sam & Max games, season 2 and 3 were definitely better. But the updated graphics are a welcome improvement and so is the fact that every chapter isn't a separate game like it was originally. I would rate it 4/5 but there are so many one star reviews complaining about censorship that I'll give it five just to offset those. There's only a couple of censored lines and they aren't really noticeable. The original version wasn't exactly raunchy, it was way toned down compared to Sam & Max: Hit the Road, and even that isn't that bad by today's standards. Overall it's a good remaster of a decent game. If you're curious about what was censored the original games are included so you can make your own call.
