Fallout: London

looks good but...

do not get me wrong a lot of work was done on this, but expect massive audio issues as well as some other issues as well... (i use Linux Mint, never had these issues with base game, except some loading time issues before it was updated) pros: - looks great, custom bobbles/doodads/misc. - uses its own custom meshes/textures/etc. - videos are custom and well done - VO work (where it can be heard is excellent) cons: - shading is wonky at best when using the "torch" - audio does not work worth shit (taking the piss?) - the radshrew looks like it is right out of something from half-life episode 2 with the weird layered reflections... - get overlapping texture flashing - load times are insane (part of this is carried over from base game i am sure) - some things do not make much sense, such as desks that should be able to interact with do not show up as such... search/loot/open/container. - not sure why if when they put so much effort in they did not do a standalone but instead decided to make it a total conversion mod, just does not make sense. after a while the game crashed and now the intro/new game is completely fubar... it should not take a full minute or more to load into a different area, its insane... make a stand alone version, that way you can make sure that the behavior is much more consistent. the start stats seem low, i guess they are trying to stay true to the original games? should setup a custom skills like original games, if they want to stay true to originals... the biggest and most annoying issue is the sound not working right....

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty

have to do this

so far, i have have run into the black screen of nothingness glitch... it either goes dark or outright black, cannot even play the base game now... and from what i have read of the reviews this is something other than the story of V... an expansion to a game is supposed to ADD TO THE BASE GAME, not introduce a new game/character... if CDPR wanted a new character then make a FUCKING NEW GAME WITH THE NEW CHARACTER ETC... but first FIX YOUR SHIT!!!!

Metro 2033 Redux

series is dead to me now.

why is this even part of the 'ukranian' sale?.... good games in the series but if they release any more i guess i will not be buying any more.... or maybe will not purchase any games through GoG if it becomes necessary, will not support terrorism. the games are good, i highly recommend playing them but if they are claiming this is ukranian company/group then i will not have anything more to do with this game company. (this is my own opinion and my own choice, i despise this kind of nonsense, these kinds of idiotic sales have never been done before and should never have been done at all)... stupid shit like this needs to stop.

Encased: A Sci-Fi Post-Apocalyptic RPG

NOT made for linux...

if you want to play this, on linux mint or ubuntu, you will need to download the windows version and use wine... so far the linux version will not work at all, also the vulcan version does not work at all as well... i played a version (was still in development at the time) of this before buying it when i was still using windows 7, it worked good then.... it is an ok rpg despite the pushing of the 'trans' bullshit, and yes it is bullshit... the story was ok at the time, but limited, the gameplay was mostly good but was limited and in many ways clunky. i hope they fixed the bugs and limitation and added proper more deep story to the game... (also if they are going to push fake nonsense and least go full bore and make it a full adult game)

Rebel Galaxy Outlaw

its ok, but...

i have played this, just not here on GOG yet... this game is better and worse than the first one (rebel galaxy) as a prequel they have actually done a really good job at taking the in-game technology backwards a bit so that it fits better overall with the rebel galaxy universe (game series) making things look a little more dated... this attention to detail helps maintain a proper sense of balance for this being a prequel (basically) to rebel galaxy... pros: - updated interactivity of videos for movements through the stations and conversations for a more realistic sense of being in those areas - space combat for a fighter style game making full use of 3D space - updated graphics while still keeping some of the stylized look - same map setup - attention to detail in being a prequel cons: - auto-tracking is annoying at best and impossible at worse since it makes the mouse jump around making it impossible to properly aim most of the time - textures have lost almost too much of the original stylization - controls can be wonky (for lack of a better term) or redundant with use of keyboard and mouse - still have the unneeded unity start box before running program - map needs to be updated to reflect a space environment (3D map space to show proper orbits etc.) - start menu is clunky since it takes up too much space that you cannot see all of the options - keeps too many of the old controls/setup alongside the new, while they kind of work together they can be at odds when navigating, and reduction in use of mouse controls or too much relying on keyboard only for many commands and navigation of menus in-game - most stations are devoid of life, most obvious in the casino - limit of fighter ships or ships in general

STASIS

settings limitations and volume issues

the game works, it might even be a really good game... however, the problem is that the volume is ALWAYS at 100% and will take your head off... the setuptool program sort of works, but not good enough. i cannot currently recommend the game or give it even 3 stars as it currently stands, the game is unplayable as long as there is no workaround or setting for the volume that will keep it from switching back to 100%.... SO PLEASE UPDATE THE GAME SO IT WILL PROPERLY KEEP ANY SETTINGS/SETUPTOOL THAT ARE SET SO THAT OUR EARS STOP BLEEDING AND OUR BRAINS/HEAD WONT EXPLODE.
