I can say without doubt, that when I bought this on release, it was the most fun I've ever had with a football game. The action is fast and intense, the goals are incredible, and the final scores are outrageous. Despite all this, any novice can pick it up and be scoring goals in their first match. This does however, make it very much a game; in a totally different league to the likes of FIFA and PES. Having come back to it, I can say nothing has changed. It's barely dated at all. Sure, it's not without it's problems; there is no button to change player, and there is no proper league or stats system as such, but if you want a football game that doesn't try and mimic the real sport, but goes all out to be as fun as possible, then this is possibly the best $10 you can spend on GOG at the minute.
