Mad Max

Don't overthink it!

Mad Max is a fun romp in a post-apocalyptic world. Yes it has all the tropes of an open-world game, but most importantly it is extremely enjoyable. Don't rush, take your time, play it at your leasure and have fun and any tedium will be avoided. Lastly on the topic of being a Mad Max experience I can whole-heartedly say is it ever, the world, the characters and the cars are spot on.

Call of Juarez: Gunslinger

A true western

Gunslinger is without a doubt the best game in a highly enjoyable series and it's a great game as well. Fun, captivating and a genuine western this is a must play. Got the Call of Juarez bundle and finished all three of them and got more than my money's worth.

A Plague Tale: Requiem

A Plague Tale: Excellence

A sequel should imporve on its predecessor, that is a fact. Reguiem not only manages to do that, but it also makes you want to play the first title to understand the full story. Gripping story, relatable characters, solid gameplay, gorgeous art design and graphics this title is fully worth your time and money.

El Paso, Elsewhere

A great time!

A fun and challenging time, El Paso is both a homage to the original Max Payne and its own game. If you like bullet time, a weird story and creative levels than this is a clear choice

Kane and Lynch: Dead Men™

Decent short shooter

Kane and Lynch is a decent shooter with a few flaws, though most come from it being one of the earlier cover shooters. The story is actually pretty good and the only thing that you should take into consideration is that the characters are not heroes or even antiheroes and this is not a feel good game and it gets that across really well. Recommended especially when on sale.

Styx: Master of Shadows

A sneaky surprise

Styx is without a doubt one of the best stealth experiences I've had as a gamer. The beauty of it is that eases you in with each level as they get larger and more complex. A great and unfortunately frequently overlooked game,

Alone in the Dark

A beautiful, infuriating, fun mess!

As you can guess from the title this game brings a lot of mixed feelings. If the words Lovecraftian, eldritch and cosmic bring a smile to your face than this is definitely the story for you. You will want to learn more, that is more or less a fact. But you probably noticed that I said story, well that's because the game part is a mixed bag, performance is at the whim of the Elder Gods for all I know, YOU WILL TWEAK AND CHANGE AND TWEAK THE SETTINGS TILL' YOU GET IT RIGHT. But when it comes down to it is an experience well worth it, even with all the technical headaches.

Maize

Fun little game

Maize is a fun little adventure game/walking simulator. Decently written, funny more often than not and has a good heart. Recommend when it's on sale and you want something a bit different.

The Invincible

A beautiful, niche experience

An amazing experience for fans of science-fiction. Make no mistake this is an interactive story and if you enjoy a slow, melancholic and thought-provoking experience you will like this game. You may have to tweek the settings a bit if your system is not a the recommended specs, but otherwise it's exactly what it sets itself as, a companion piece and interactive version of a Stanislaw Lem novel.
