Its a really fun game but it is not Civ 4 and is not Age of Wonder. There are similarities but really big differences. I do not consider this game a true 4x game and it does not play the same way as one. It is more similar to Thea in turns of over world and combat is similar to Age of Wonders. I find it to be a lot of fun and a great game to play but I recommend you watch a Youtube playthrough to decided if its something you would enjoy.
